An AVS failure (or Address Verification System failure) occurs when the billing address that the bank has on file for your card does not match exactly the billing address you entered at checkout. TOCCA requires this to match to prevent credit card fraud. In the instance of an AVS failure, a pending charge will appear on your credit card, but will disappear within 7-10 days. If for some reason it does not, you will need to contact your credit card company.
